Membership
Eligibility
Members of approved employee groups are eligible for membership. Approved employee groups have been expanded to include Full-time Civilian Employees of the Chicago Police Department and Full-time Employees of the Office of Emergency Management Communications. Members' spouses, children, grandchildren, parents, brothers and sisters and Domestic Partners meeting criteria, may also join. Retirees and their families from eligible groups also qualify for membership.
Employer
- Both active and retired sworn personnel, of any rank, of the Chicago Police Department
- Full-time Employees of the Chicago Police Department
- Full-time Employees of the Chicago Office of Emergency Management Communications
- Employees of Chicago Patrolmen's Federal Credit Union
Minimum Balance Requirement
- $100.00 in a regular share account.
Relationship
- Immediate family members of members from any of the above groups.
A Lifetime Benefit
Once your accounts are opened, you and your family may remain active members for life, no matter where you later live or work. Even if you leave the employer that qualified you for membership, you'll be entitled to the same membership benefits as other members.
