FAQ's

I am a Cook County Sheriff, am I eligible for membership?
Yes, the Count County Sheriff's Department is now a select employee group, eligible for membership.  Get more information on our Membership page.

What family members are eligible to join the credit union?

When I try to log-in to my Home Banking account it sends me directly to the loan application page?
If you do not access your Home Banking account at least once every 60 days, for security reasons we remove the license to view your accounts on-line. To regain access to your account please contact us at (800) 326-8814 option 1.

When I enter my User ID to sign in to Home Banking it then directs me to a page with a question that I never chose or know the answer for? 
This usually happens when the wrong user ID is entered. Remember, your user ID will always be your 5-digit account number. If you are entering the correct User ID you may need to contact one of our representatives.

Can I change my address on the website?
As an added security measure we do signature verification on all change of address requests. Therefore, you will need to either visit one of our three branches or send your request in writing. If you choose to send your request in writing, please submit the Member Information Update Form.

Can I switch over to E-Statements?
          Yes!  Simply log in to your account to sign up for our easy, and eco-friendly e-statements.

Can I view my credit card information through Home Banking?
You cannot retrieve this information through Home Banking but you can retrieve up to six months of statements by going to https://onlineaccessplus.com/oa/cpdfcu/

Do you carry or sell US savings bonds?
No, savings bonds must be purchased through the Treasury Direct website.





I recently applied for a loan online and I went back on the computer to check the status of the loan, but it is telling me that I do not have any loan applications on file?

To check the status of your loan application, please contact us at 312-726-8814 option 1.

After I log in my password was not accepted and now the account is locked?  
           For security reasons, please contact us at 312-726-8814 option 1 to have your password reset.

What to do if a member dies?
     
-A spouse, joint owner, beneficiary and/or any other individual must notify the credit union by visiting any one of our branch offices or contacting our Call Center at 312-726-8814.       
-An original death certificate, full trust agreement (if account is in trust) and/or small estate affividavit (if applicable) is required.   

What if a member is called to Active Duty?
The member automatically qualifies for a reduction in their loan and/or credit card interest rate and deferment of monthly payment (if applicable).
-The member and/or Power of Attorney (proper documentation required) must provide the member's military orders for each year and each successive year to follow (if applicable).

What happens when a member returns from Active Duty?
-The member's reduction in their loan and/or credit card interest rate and deferment of monthly payment (if applicable) is reinstated to its original terms and conditions.
-The member must notify the credit union by visiting any one of our branch offices or contacting our Call Center at 312-726-8814.
